Good Cause Eviction
As a result of tireless organizing across the state, in 2024 Good Cause Eviction was passed and Housing Justice for All has continued to expand tenant protections in eight new cities and towns which continue to organize and educate tenants on their rights. In 2025, HJ4A also partnered with JustFix to launch GoodCauseNYC.org, a new online tool that helps tenants determine their eligibility for Good Cause protections and connect directly to vital housing resources.
